Sign up and verify you are 18
Create a free account. We ask for your name, email, date of birth, and a UK postcode so we can confirm you are a UK resident aged 18 or over. Two-minute signup, no card on file.

Choose a competition
Browse every active Pokémon TCG competition. Each card shows the prize, the ticket price, the draw date, and how many tickets are still available. Pick the one you want.

Answer the skill question and pay
Every competition includes a Pokémon-related skill question. You answer it and pay the published ticket price by card through our payment processor. Your payment is taken whether or not your answer is right, and only entries with the correct answer go into the draw. The skill question is what qualifies each competition as a prize competition under UK law.

Tickets revealed instantly
Ticket numbers are allocated to you at random from the unsold pool the moment payment confirms. You see them on the confirmation page, in your order email, and on your account dashboard. No waiting, no manual claim step.

GlassBox draw, check it yourself
On the published draw date we run the draw on GlassBox: a fresh random number picks the winning ticket, and we publish that number and every ticket in the draw so anyone can check the result. If your ticket is drawn we contact you by email and phone within 24 hours and arrange tracked, signed-for delivery to your UK address.
GlassBox: every draw, on public record
The draw is the moment that matters most, so we don't ask you to take it on trust. Every draw on Choose You Raffles runs on GlassBox, and we publish everything you need to run it again yourself and get the same winner.
The winner is decided by a deterministic, repeatable calculation: a random 32-byte seed goes through HMAC-SHA256 to pick the winning ticket from the eligible pool, with every ticket on exactly the same odds.
The moment a draw runs, after entries have closed, our server generates a fresh 32-byte seed with crypto.randomBytes(). Each competition is drawn once and the seed is recorded in the same step as the result, then published in full on the competition's audit page.
Only paid and postal tickets whose skill-question answer was correct enter the draw, on identical terms. We publish the full list of eligible ticket numbers, sorted in order, so you can find your own ticket and see the exact pool the winner was drawn from.
After each draw, the audit record publishes the seed, the full eligible-ticket list, the algorithm, and the winning number. No login required. Anyone can recompute the winner: derive an index from the seed with HMAC-SHA256 and read it off the sorted pool. When it matches the published winning number, you have checked for yourself that this seed and this pool give this winner and no other. Change one character of the seed and a different ticket wins.
